High fire form meets daily use function!
Born in Loma Linda, Arne as he’s known to his friends grew up in Redlands, CA. Migrating to Flagstaff in 1967 to study forestry at NAU. He, however discovered the magic of clay and earned a BFA in ceramics in 1972.
Arne has continued “throwing” pots in Flagstaff since graduating from NAU. All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. Arne can be found most days in his studio “Arne Ceramics” located on historic Route 66.
High fire stoneware clays that finish glazing at temps over 2400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Arne’s Art has always been influenced by the time he spends hiking, river running, mountain biking and alpine skiing among the phenomenal pine trees of Northern Arizona.
Common Hours are Monday - Saturday 12-5pm
